Florence Tours

Italian gardens and villas have been imitated and recreated all over the world. I will show you the original gardens created by the Medici in the Renaissance and maintained throughout centuries.  We will be able to visit villas and their gardens both in public and private estates on the hills of Florence. 

This is a tour for the Michelangelo's afficionados, who want to learn aspects of the artists' work and life that have been recently disclosed by art historians.  My research in the archives will give you unedited perspectives on the artist. We will visit the Casa Buonarroti museum, view his drawings and other house treasures. 

An in-depth and comprehensive approach to Michelangelo's life and work in Florence. A learning experience through my own personal research in the Michelangelo's archive.  His home premises at Casa Buonarroti, his burial site in Santa Croce, and other significant sites with his masterpieces will become the stage for our discussion of the artist.

Artisans in Florence are very proud to show their work.  I will introduce you to a few skilled master artisans and we will also browse through Antique Markets, Flower markets, Food Halls and daily markets with your guide to meet local people and find uncnventional non touristy items to bring home.
